NoteImportant: When using the CO² leak tester, always make sure that no coolant is sucked in. A diesel engine works with a high excess of air at low loads and the combustion gas contains a high proportion of unused air. Therefore, before a CO² leak test, put as much stress as possible on the diesel engine by test driving or increasing the speed several times. Organic and inorganic salts dissolved in distilled water. The total proportion of these non-toxic ingredients is only 0.03%. According to Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC, this test liquid is classified as “non-hazardous”.
