Description

The SUBARU recommendation requires for the lubricant to fulfil API SN and ILSAC GF-5 standards in order to guarantee fuel economy benefits and perfect durability of SUBARU Petrol engines range.
The API SN PLUS and API SP standards are fully backward compatible over API SN requirements and all former API standards. The API SP-RC “Resource Conserving” specification is even more demanding on the energy saving requirements. API SP-RC lubricants provide outstanding oxidation resistance, better anti-deposits protection, better engine cleanliness, anti-wear protection and enhanced performance at cold temperature for Fuel Economy savings during the whole oil life span.
Besides being backward compatible, compare to API SN and API SN PLUS, the API SP-RC standard provides higher performance and especially adds protection against LSPI for downsized direct injection turbocharged gasoline engines.
Based on the API SP for grade 20 lubricants, the ILSAC GF-6A standard is fully backward compatible with the ILSAC GF-5 standard, and is even more severe, particularly on fuel economy criteria. It guarantees compatibility with after-treatment systems and perfect engine protection.
Certified API SP-RC / ILSAC GF-6A lubricants are environment friendly and reduce fuel consumption, minimizing green house gases (CO2) emission and achieve extended drain intervals managed by vehicles on-board computer.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Drain interval: according to manufacturers’ recommendations and tune to your own use.
• Do not mix with non-API SP-RC or ILSAC GF-6A compliant lubricants.
• Before use always refer to the owner manual of the vehicle.
