VP Cool Down coolant additive is designed for gas and diesel engines and works with coolant or straight water systems. Its advanced formula reduces coolant surface tension for superior heat transfer and lowers engine temperatures by up to 30°F. Cylinder head temps can drop by as much as 75°F, helping to prevent overheating. Our coolant additive also lubricates vital components, including water pumps and seals, while safeguarding against corrosion and electrolysis of all metals, especially aluminum. It meets and exceeds ASTM D3306 specifications, making it the trusted choice for racing, street vehicles, RVs, and towing.

- COOL THE ENGINE: Make sure the engine is cool before removing the radiator cap
- ADD COOL DOWN: Pour Cool Down into the radiator per the application directions listed below.
- START THE ENGINE: Turn on the engine and set the heater to high.
- RUN FOR 10 MINUTES: Let the engine run for 10 minutes to circulate Cool Down.
- REMINDER: Keep at least 15% antifreeze in the cooling system for street-driven vehicles with A/C.
